Beginner’s Guide to Warez Downloading

You might be new to warez scene or confused … this guide will make your downloading easy.

1)Browser
I would like to point towards your browser you might be using Internet Explorer (IE). Its the most awful browser ever. I would recommend you to change to a secure and a better browser like Mozilla Firefox

2)WinRAR
Most of the files are rarred so this is one of the most important software you would need to use.

3)Download site logins
This is one of the most crucial steps as downloading as a free user is almost impossible. You would need to buy site logins which averagely cost about 10 USD per month.
The most popular sites are

www.rapidshare.com
www.megaupload.com
www.megashares.com

Out of this most popular is rapidshare and site login for rapidshare would be enough
Ok once you buy rapidshare account login , goto options and enable direct downloads
4)Download Managers
They increase the speed of your downloading and this guide will help you to configure them
The most popular ones are Internet Download Manager(IDM) and Flashget. Although i prefer IDM , which one is better is an endless debate
a)Internet Download Manager
It is one of the best download managers

Configuration
Now that you’ve installed and registered IDM successfully , lets get towards configuration part.
1)Start IDM
2)Goto Downloads => Options
3)Click On Connection TAB
4)Change default max conn number to 16 and Click OK
6)Click On Site Logins TAB
7)Click On NEW
8)Select http:// , Enter the server path as rapidshare.com , Enter your username in username and password in password and click on OK
9)Again Click on NEW
10)Select http:// , Enter the server path as *.rapidshare.com , Enter your username in username and password in password and click on OK
11)Congrats you can close IDM now you’ve successfully configured it.
NB – You can use this for others like megaupload.com too by just replacing rapidshare.com by megaupload.com
b)Flashget
One of the best and most preferred download managers

I would also recommend this additional software for it called FlashGit

I hope that you’ve installed flashget and flashgit successfully so lets get to configuration
2)Goto Tools => Options => Connection And modify the value of max simultaneous jobs as required and click on OK
3)Goto Tools => Options => Site Manager => Add
4)Enter

http://*.rapidshare.com

as the url , enter your username and password and click on login to server and OK
5)Congrats you’ve successfully configured Flashget
Additional Plugins
In order to make downloading easier , i recommend additional plugins for firefox
They’re
Flashgot
It is very useful to send a bunch of links to your download manager directly

Info : Select the batch of links , right click on click on Flashgot selected
Linkification
As most of the links are under code tags , it is a very boring job to copy paste it , instead this makes all the links on the Live so you can click on it

Get all set for downloading
a)Internet Download Manager
1)Ok Now you find some damn rs links
2)Select them like this Either Click on Download With IDM or Flashgot Selection and you should enter some funny screen like this
3)Just goto through the list once if the rar symbol is not showing 90% chance that file is deleted … if all ok Click on Check ALL
Ok now u’ve got the damn rs links and off the scheduler
4)Ok Now goto IDM , Click on Scheduler , you would get this screenie
Configure the settings as required and then click on Files in Queue
Configure the value of downloading how many files at a time and click on start now and enjoy ur life xD
b)Flashget
1)First find some damn rs links
2)Select them and click on flashgot selection
3)You should get a funny screen like this click on ok
4)After that click on ok for the settings it asks
And then viola ur download should be started
